Watch Dogs On PS4 Is "A Truly No Compromises Experience"

The more we see of this game, the more encouraged we become. How about you?

Watch Dogs is a cross-generation title slated to for both the PS3 and PS4, and it seems that all versions will be available on November 19. In the meantime, check out a PlayStation "Conversation With Creators" feature that focuses on Ubisoft's upcoming blockbuster.

As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog, the video introduces you to two of the driving forces on the Watch Dogs team: Dominic, the senior producer, and Jonathan, the creative director. The team worked in close collaboration with PlayStation so as to harness the full power of the PS4-

"This gives them the opportunity to create a truly no-compromises experience with high-resolution environment textures and advanced special effects. The game experience, much like the city you’ll get to play in, will be rich, deep, and detailed."

They want to convey what it feels like in a "hyper-connected" world, and they wish to give players "new and different ways to connect with each other." Personally, a "hyper-connected world" scares the sh** out of me but I'm obviously in the minority on that. And besides, this game should be fantastic. Is it Game of the Year quality...?

I'm looking forward to Watch Dogs more than I am any other game this year and I think that if it delivers on what it promises, it could be a strong GotY contender.

Really seems like a GTA for the digital age doesn't it?

Watch Dogs will be better than GTA5. GTA series is getting old and not innovating like it did on PS2.

I'm seriously getting goose-bumps. This is *the* system seller for me - I'd never have guessed a cross-gen release could become that!

What a kick-off of a new generation this will be. I got an insanely strong feeling that this E3 will unveil a tirade of top tier RPGs: Fallout 4, Dragon Age 3, the new Mass Effect series, at least one major MMORPG with a futuristic theme (there's several in the making these days), and we already know about The Witcher 3. On top of that there's the titles no-one knew about... and now I'm only talking about RPGs!

So yeah, this next generation seem to be of epic quality right from the start. Let's hope that continues!

Just don't forget that your ps3 also need some tender love.

It's had my unrestricted love for six years. It should be happy about that.

I actually consider selling it now before it drops too much in price.

That's the type of actions people regret later in their lifetime.

it defiantly SHOULD be GOTY quality, in fact if its not it will be one of the biggest disappointments of the generation!
it just looks too good to disappoint!

O, and no compromises.

Still not feeling Watch Dogs TBH. Looks boring and Ubisoft is kind of in the doghouse with me. If it turns out to be good or great I'll check it out when I get a PS4 in a year or two after launch and if I really start to get interested in it I'll probably just check out the PC version.

I wish someone would share what they find amazing about this title. I've read and watched every piece of media I can find, yet the excitement eludes me here. It's technically impressive, sure. I just don't see awesome gameplay mechanics folks are going ga-ga for. Trust me, I totally wish I understood all the hype.
