Street Fighter V Will Launch In Current Fiscal Year
Mark your calendars! ...uh, well, don't try to do that. You'd have to circle a lot of months.
But at least we've got a launch window for the highly anticipated Street Fighter V: According to Capcom's latest financial report, the battler will release within the company's current fiscal year.
This means the game will be on store shelves no later than March 31, 2016. Previously, we'd heard the title would release some time next spring, so this matches up well. SFV is coming to PlayStation 4 and PC and it will feature cross-platform play, so PS4 and PC players and throw down together. As for sales projections, Capcom expects the game to sell 2 million copies by the end of the current fiscal year, and that includes physical and digital copies.
Perhaps this is the fighter fans of the genre have been waiting for this generation. Or is it Tekken 7...? I know the two camps are split right down the middle and both are ardently passionate....
