E3 2015: AC Syndicate Gorgeous Trailers, Exclusive Content

Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Syndicate shined during Sony's E3 press conference.

The publisher had previously shown off a cinematic trailer (see it below) and we also got a fresh gameplay video featuring a new character, Evie Frye.

Evie is the twin sister of protagonist Jacob Frye and seems to adopt a stealthier approach. In the trailer, she investigates London from the shadows and shows off her unique Cane Sword weapon. She also has throwing knives, which isn't new to the AC universe but how she utilizes them could be a definite innovation.

After the trailer ended, Sony's Adam Boyes announced that the PlayStation 4 version of Syndicate will feature exclusive content. It will come in the form of the Dreadful Crimes missions and you can play as either Jacob or Evie.

Can't wait for this one!

That's funny Ben, Evie being a twin brother of Jacob.

I like her fighting style way more than her brother's.

I highly doubt that I would purchase this game. I still have Unity sitting in plastic at home. Furthermore, the setting and time in history doesn't catch my attention whatsoever.

Like Tes37 said, Evie's fighting style is probably the best I've seen from any AC trailer.

Unity left a sour taste in my mouth. I'll pass on this one too. Just doesn't appeal to me at all.

Remember Unity looked fantastic as well
Until they give us what we want(a direct sequel to Black Flag) I am anti AssCreed

AC is the same sh*t every year. I always believed the franchise lost its identity around AC3 because AC4 Black Flag and Unity are spins-offs at best with Brotherhood being the high point in this franchises history. Ubisoft needs to tackle more interesting time periods because Syndicate's (awful name) setting is painfully dull.

Hopefully they make it work because AC Unity was the same nonsense all over again as the games before in a less impressive package, but at the same time impressive due to the animations, graphics, and updated mechanics. But AC use to be compelling on story and mystery alone. Ever since AC2, those traits have taken a backseat to gameplay (great gameplay at that). So just like every AC after AC3, this will be borrowed from a friend, beaten, and returned to said friend ;)

Plus...this comes out around the same time as Fallout 4, Need for Speed, and MGSV. Those games will take up my available free time alone.
