A Few Disappointing Points About The Street Fighter V Beta
A few things you should probably know about the Street Fighter V beta before diving in...and you might not like what you see.
Publisher Capcom has revealed a few details concerning the PlayStation 4-exclusive beta and gamers are disappointed in a few key points.
Firstly, you can't invite friends into matches; all the matches in this test will be chosen at random. On top of which, the random match-ups don't consider your region, so you could end up playing people from all over the world. Capcom clarified that the final game won't operate in this fashion, as they're "still working" on the game's location-tracking and matchmaking algorithm. Secondly, you also can't use the PS4's nifty sharing features to save screenshots or videos.
Lastly, it should be noted that server maintenance will take the beta offline between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. PDT. That's no biggie, though, right? As for the other tidbits, I guess it's expected as this is indeed a beta.
