Guerrilla: Horizon Is Between Elder Scrolls And Assassin's Creed
Developer Guerrilla Games has made it plain in the past: Horizon: Zero Dawn is a role-playing game.
We think it could end up being one of the best ever, too, but we still don't have too many specific details.
On that score, GamesRadar asked studio co-founder and managing director Herman Hulst to elaborate on the genre, and here's his response:
"I guess you're wondering where we are on that spectrum of, on the one side more action-orientated games like Assassin's Creed, and on the other hand you have your Elder Scrolls and these kinds of series. I think we're in-between. We have elements in both directions, and that probably puts us somewhere in between."
Hulst didn't go any deeper, though, saying it's "really difficult" to outline the depth and scope of the game in question without being able to show it off. Once they have some more gameplay to present (aside from what we already saw at E3), the team will offer more information.
We're happy with what we know so far about this PlayStation 4 exclusive, so let's stay optimistic.
