Bethesda: Releasing DLC Plans Before Launch Isn't Bad
Last week, Bethesda revealed their DLC plans for Fallout 4, which will include a $30 Season Pass.
Gamers have often spoken out against this practice of releasing expansion details before the game is even out the door, but Bethesda doesn't see anything wrong with it.
When a fan brought up the topic on Twitter, studio marketing boss Pete Hines responded as follows:
"I think letting folks know our thoughts on it and how it fits into our post-launch plans is a good approach."
Bethesda admitted that they have no idea what the DLC will consist of, as they're still focused on getting the game done. But the pricing is set and we know we won't get any extra content until 2016. That should be enough time for players to put a hefty dent into Fallout 4, which is slated to launch on November 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
