Bethesda: Fallout 4 DLC Isn't Tied To Any Particular Platform
Don't worry. It doesn't matter which platform you prefer because Fallout 4 DLC should launch simultaneously across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
We've seen lots of examples of timed DLC exclusivity for AAA productions, but that won't happen here. When asked on Twitter whether or not downloadable content for the anticipated open-world RPG would debut first on Xbox One, Bethesda marketing boss Pete Hines replied simply:
@XxThe5sGuyxX we aren't doing a DLC exclusive with anyone— Pete Hines (@DCDeacon) September 27, 2015
Previously, Bethesda confirmed the $30 Season Pass, which, as the developers said, will include "all the Fallout 4 DLC we ever do." The team will also deliver "free updates" as the post-release months progress.
Bethesda has said in the past that the massive tile would "never work" on the older consoles, so if you still have to upgrade, maybe now's the time. Fallout 4 is set to launch on November 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
