E3 2013: Sony Teams Up With Multiple Indie Devs For PS4

Independent developers have been coming into their own lately, and Sony will continue to support indie devs for the PlayStation 4.

During their E3 2013 press conference, Sony announced a slew of new indie titles, all of which will make their exclusive debuts on the PS4.

This included the latest from Bastion developer Supergiant Games; it's called Transistor and it'll arrive early next year. The first trailer is below and it appears to be a colorful and original adventure. Then comes Klei Games with Don't Starve, Young Horses will deliver Octodad: Dadliest Catch, and there are more titles coming from Ragtag Studios, Red Barrels and 17-Bit Games. Heck, they even announced a brand new remake of the original Oddworld, which will be called Oddworld: New 'n Tasty!

How about we get Bastion and Mark Of The Ninja first?

I'd second that (If I didn't already have Bastion on Steam ;)
Seriously though, Bastion is briliant; Supergiant Games got so much "right" was that game, I find it unbelievable.

I'm so excited for Transistor; looks amazing!

yup, this pretty much sums up what was wrong with their presser this year.
E3 is for big AAA games, not indie titles!
$ony jumps on stage, whips their cock out, and says oooooooo look at us were so good we have the biggest first party studios in the world, were so good!!!!!!!
then spend 99% of the presser revealing indie titles.
so, what was that about you owning so many first party studios?????
whats the team that did uncharted 3 at ND working on?
whats the new IP GG have been working on?
whats $ony bend working on?
hell, they dident even give us new gameplay demos for the games they announced in feb!
so disappointed, the biggest show of the year and all $ony had to show of was indie titles, and 2 VERY overdue $E titles!
speaking of VERY overdue titles, what ever happened to the last guardian, and agent?
no new gameplay demos for rain, until dawn, or any other games that were revealed at gamescom last year either.
and where are all the vita games?
not even a live demonstration of the one vita game people want, killzone mercs!
congrats $ony, color me disappointed!!!!!!!!!

kinda hard to when $ony turns up to E3, the biggest event of the year, and shows off pretty much jack!
not only do they reveal so few new games, they dont even show off new gameplay videos for the games they have announced!
Ferrari turned up to the paris motor show, had a car hidden behind the covers, than pulled it back to reveal paper mache of a old classic Ferrari.
yea, thats totally what people expect to see at the event!
