Ubisoft Teases Mystery Game, Leaks Say It's Far Cry Primal
It started when Ubisoft teased a new game announcement yesterday with a mysterious livestream that just kept going.
As you can see below, it shows a cave painting with a man holding a bow in one hand and a spear in the other. You can also see the embers of a fire and you can hear growling animals and some sort of tribal chanting in the background.
Gamers have been wondering what it might be but Kotaku seems to already know: It's Far Cry Primal, which will be set in the Ice Age. Yep, that means we might be hunting the likes of woolly mammoths, saber-toothed tigers and other prehistoric beasts. And warring tribes could be part of the adventure as well.
A prehistoric Far Cry isn't out of the question, as IGN Turkey already leaked the title in question. Perhaps the latest entry will be a spin-off like the well-received Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, or maybe it'll be a full-fledged AAA blockbuster.
Either way, Ubisoft appears to be just about ready to unveil it, so stay tuned...
