Bloodborne Game Of The Year Edition Coming In November

I think we all figured this would happen.

Sony has announced a Bloodborne Game of the Year Edition, which will launch exclusively on PlayStation 4 on November 25; the package will include the original game along with the new expansion, The Old Hunters.

The Old Hunters tells the story of the "legendary hunters" referenced in the main quest, and players will explore a dark world "where hunters from the past are trapped forever." Fans will get new environments, outfits, equipment and weapons and Ludwig, a major character in the game's lore, is going to be one of the new bosses. The Old Hunters will retail for $19.99 on its own but if you grab the GotY Edition...well, we're not sure. No price for that yet but we're hoping it'll cost the standard $60.

Bloodborne is one of the most acclaimed titles of 2015 and as it'll probably garner at least a few Game of the Year awards, it's probably worthy of a special edition, right?

I wanted to love Bloodborne as much as the Souls games but I just didn't. I haven't been able to finish it as well. There's something about Dark Souls that just draws me in more. After I finish all the MGS5 mission in S class (for the fun of it) I will go back and finish Bloodborne before I jump into The Order 1886 (need a break from long games).

Bloodborne was definitely great in its own right, but the lack of different classes killed its staying power. And the combining of different weapons into one transforming trick weapon decreased the weapon types which then decreased the replay value exponentially. With that said, I would still take Bloodborne over Dark Souls 1 and 2. Not Demons Souls though.

GOTY edition coming out in the same year?
Isn't that a bit too fast?
And there's only one piece of DLC.

Haha exactly...this collection makes little sense.
