Tales Of Zestiria Microtransaction Bundle Goes For $20
Yes, it's basically cheating. But at least you have to pay to cheat.
Microtransactions are plenty common in gaming today and for long games, they're actually a welcome option for certain consumers.
That's why publisher Bandai Namco is giving you the chance to pick up the Adventure Items Pack for the recently released Tales of Zestiria.
As detailed at Gearnuke, this paid DLC gets you experience, levels, equipment, and a variety of stat boosters (click through the link to see the entire list). The Pack retails for $19.99 so it had better get you all kinds of boosts, considering it goes for 1/3 the price of the game itself. Yeah, I expect to be able to double my gold and get 10 extra levels for that price. And don't forget that Tales of Vesperia on Xbox 360 offered a similar paid perk, so this is hardly without precedent.
Tales of Zestiria, the latest installment in the well-received and long-running JRPG series, released this week for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4. Review coming soon.
