SCEE Confirms PlayStation 4 Price Drop For Euro Territory

PlayStation 4 is now cheaper in every major region of the world.

Here's the chronology: During the Tokyo Game Show in September, Sony announced a PS4 price cut for Japan. Just weeks later, SCEA confirmed the flagship console was getting a price drop in the U.S. and Canada. And just yesterday, we heard about the price cut for Australia.

Now, SCEE has confirmed that PS4 will be available in Europe for the recommended retail price of €349.99/£299.99. Here's a statement from the company:

"Since the launch of PS4 our aim has always been to provide players with the best gaming experiences at the best value, and we’ve been thrilled with the amount of players who have joined our world."

SCEE boss Jim Ryan chimed in by saying PS4 now offers consumers its "best ever value just in time for the holiday season." And with a lack of big-time exclusives for the system, this price drop is probably pretty important.

But you've already got yours, correct?
