Battlefront Beta Yields Giant Numbers
You know that 9 million people participated in the wide open Star Wars: Battlefront beta.
But Electronic Arts has shared some extra super big numbers via infographic (see it here).
The largest beta test in EA history has generated a slew of ridiculous numbers. for instance, players logged an absurd 1.6 billion minutes of testing, enough time to watch the original "Star Wars" trilogy 4.2 million times. Two-thirds of those 9 million participants (6 million) hit the max level of 5 and in terms of specific gameplay numbers: 783,392 Walkers were destroyed, and players chose to spawn as Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader an almost equal number of times; 5,938,148 for Vader and 5,904,806 for Luke.
Star Wars: Battlefront is cleared to release on November 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Developer DICE recently revealed more playable characters and modes, and after the beta concluded, they admitted the Assault Walker mode was unbalanced. They'll still be working on the multiplayer experience right up until launch and beyond, you can bet on that.
