Have The New PlayStation VR Games Amped Up Your Interest?

PlayStation VR is slated to drop next year and only recently have we heard about more games that will support the promising virtual reality initiative.

The only question is whether or not these newly revealed titles have made an impact.

So, what does the gaming community think of these VR experiences? Personally, I'm not sure Tekken 7 in VR will even work properly, or if it'll be appealing to avid fighting fans. But I think games that take advantage of VR's enhanced immersion could be fantastic; for example, Crytek's Robinson: The Journey has a load of promise, and I'm very interested to see what Supermassive does with Until Dawn: Rush of Blood.

Of course, my reservations about VR remain. I believe it could be hugely damaging and even dangerous, and I don't believe we'll even acknowledge the effects until a few years down the road. We all know how long it took for games to add that seizure disclaimer and yes, there's a reason the disclaimer exists. It's my belief that VR could, for some people, have profoundly disastrous results. But more practically and personally, I think it's just too expensive and it's bound to give me a raging headache.

That doesn't mean developers can't still do special things with this new medium, though. I just wonder if any of these scheduled games are going over well with the community.

The Journey game has me interested but i will still wait and see if more teams decide to develop more projects before i buy, i don't want to fall for it like i did with Move.

As far as safety i believe it will be the exact same as it is now, if you have had seizures or have family members that have then use with caution everyone else strap in.

I have a feeling it will be like 3D where it will be added to games at the start then slowly be phased out. It's not often you see a 3D game now.

I'm extremely interested in the new Until Dawn & that Robinson game.

Those fighting games, not so much.

I wasn't gonna get it until I saw Robinson. I'm a total sucker for anything dinosaur.

Completely not interested. What a dorky device. Just give me a controller and a big a** tv. Like most, the first time I heard about the VR, I was reminded by Move's disappointment and disappearance from store shelves.

With that said, its function and potential look promising if not great. A purchase isn't in the works, but if it turns out to be a success I might retract my present stance against the VR.

I like the possibilities, but I fell for the PS Move and swore I would never do that again. If VR is good, I am all in.

If it's great....I'm on board too especially if it really enhances helmet mode for Driveclub and GT.

So true. Companies need to stop thinking people need more than just traditional gaming devices when all we want are great titles. 3D, Move and Kinect were a failure. Let's all move on!!!

The Walk, GT Sports, Robinson, look good and interesting so far. If you've seen project cars with the oculus rift, it's pretty clear that driving games are absolute driving force for one of VR uses. Games like PT or other horror games are sure thrills for me.

So yeah, I have high hopes for it more so than ps move.

I personally would LOVE VR for games like Fallout, Elder Scrolls, GTA, etc. I want to be immersed in those types of worlds. Most other gaming... Meh.

If any of the aforementioned games supported the VR device, I'd be sold though!
