CD Projekt Red: The Witcher 3 Isn't The End Of The Series

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt might be the end of Geralt's story but it's certainly not the end of the series.

That would just be "unfair" to all those who loved the first two games, so says CD Projekt Red CEO Adam Kicinski.

Speaking to TVN24Bis (as translated by GamerPressure), Kicinski said that while the next installment is obviously still a ways off, they haven't forgotten about the popular brand:

"It's too early to talk about it, but it's not like we're forgetting about this brand. It wouldn't be fair towards the fans. We work within this universe for over a dozen years now and I don't think it's going to be the end of it."

A widely acclaimed title (it just won Game of the Year at the annual Game Awards), the title sold 6 million copies in its first 6 weeks at market and although we don't have an updated sales number, we know the game was extremely profitable. The recently released expansion, Hearts of Stone, received more praise.

I'd be all over The Witcher 4. How's about you?

I'm down with a Witcher 4 but only after their Cyberpunk looking game.

So is Geralt gaming's biggest mac-daddy ladies man? He surrounds himself with female partners and is in the search for a female. He's also sorta swauve and wise. He's almost like a fantasy based James Bond. A James Bond for hire that is.

What they mean is that it would be unfair to their wallets if they didnt make another Witcher game that made them millions. lol.

I just finished watching it and I must say that I am glad they're remaking FF7 and not FF8-10 which I thoroughly enjoyed more. I didn't connect with FF7 whatsoever. To me it looks not much different than FF15 gameplay wise. If they would have used a modern version of turn based combat they would have satisfied more gamers (old and new)

it shouldn't be the end of Geralt's adventure either.there is literally no one else that can take up his mantle and continue the legacy.
