Looks Like A New Ghostbusters Game Is Heading Our Way
When the last Ghostbusters game came out (it was pretty darn good, by the way), actor Dan Aykroyd said it was basically a "third movie."
Well, now the real third movie is coming this summer and it seems we'll be getting another interactive experience to go along with it.
According to Retail Merchandiser (via IGN), the new game is "fully-fledged" and will release alongside the new film, which is slated to hit theaters on July 15. Activision should be the publisher but we haven't heard a peep from them just yet; perhaps they're waiting before the new "Ghostbusters" hype train starts to roll, which we probably shouldn't expect to happen for a few months.
The last game featured voice work from all the original actors (Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson), so we assume the ladies in the new movie (Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones) will be lending their voice talents to the latest game.
