Story Trailer For Mirror's Edge Catalyst Focuses On Faith

Not long after announcing the closed beta, developer DICE has published a new trailer for the highly anticipated Mirror's Edge Catalyst.

The Story Trailer, called "I Am Faith," centers on the game's returning protagonist Faith Connors, who has recently been released from prison (why she's there, we're not quite sure). She then gets embroiled in a plot with the infamous Gabriel Kruger and the Conglomerate, the group that maintains its oppressive regime over the city of Glass. As you might expect, the title of the game is a reference to the narrative, as Faith must become a "catalyst" of change for the future.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst was initially supposed to launch in February but was then delayed until May; it's now set to release on May 24 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The developers have also explained that this new environment isn't completely open from jump, which means we'll open up more as we progress. One of our most anticipated titles of 2016!

Its looking pretty good so far. A minor complaint and it isn't really a complaint but I wish they still used the cords from I am still alive...I felt that song went so well with the first Mirrors edge.

I'm also glad they kept it first person.
