Kojima: Power Difference Between PS4 And Xbox One "Small"
This comment from the Metal Gear Solid master should probably be taken with a grain of salt.
In a recent interview with 4Gamer where Kojima talked Playstation 4 the veteran developer went against the grain in his assessment (translated by Dualshockers) of the power difference between the upcoming Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
“The difference is small, and I don’t really need to worry about it.”
This brief statement contradicts a report that Playstation 4 boasts 50% more raw power than its competitor and comes at a time when Playstation 4 lead architect Mark Cerny details exactly how Sony has built extra power into its console architecture.
As we know Kojima recently stumped for Microsoft at E3 and it's probably safe to say that he has enough invested in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain being a success on the Xbox One that any console favoritism at this point would be counterproductive on his part.
