Rumor: The Witcher 3 Add-On Blood And Wine Hits June 7
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the most decorated games of the generation and rightly so.
Last year's Hearts of Stone expansion was one of the best pieces of add-on content I've ever seen and I'm expecting more greatness when the second expansion, Blood and Wine, arrives this year. The question is, when?
Well, though developer CD Projekt Red hasn't yet delivered a launch date, WCCFTech noted that Polish site GRYOnline has given Blood and Wine a June 7 date. It could just be a placeholder but it does line up with the previous "first half of 2016" estimate. The studio has some stuff set for PAX East next week but when asked if the Blood and Wine date would be revealed then, community manager Marcin Momot replied:
"The panel & some fun activities for people attending the show are our main focus."
In other words, no, we probably shouldn't expect the date to drop next week. Still, June 7 sounds plenty realistic and that would work out well for me. I should be done with both Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (set for May 10) by then. :)
