Episodic Noir Adventure Blues And Bullets Hits PS4 April 19
Noir buffs, listen up.
Developer A Crowd of Monsters has revealed a very intriguing new episodic adventure called Blues and Bullets, and it's just dripping with atmosphere.
As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog, the game will land on PS4 via the PlayStation Store next week (April 19), and it's a noir crime drama set in the fictional American city of Santa Esperanza in the 1920s. The former leader of the legendary Untouchables, Eliot Ness, wanted to live out his days working in his diner after finally putting Al Capone away for good. But of course, things just don't pan out.
When children start disappearing, Ness needs to take matters into his own hands once again. He intends to bring this monster to justice by any means necessary, and he may have to get help from various unsavory characters during the course of his quest. As you can see, this is a classic noir palette with a twist: While it's an homage to the standard black-and-white style, the designers created a unique environment by tossing a bit of red into the mix.
Looks very slick and something well worth trying. Gotta see some gameplay, though...
