The Walking Dead Creator Teases Season 3 Game Details
If you're a fan of "The Walking Dead" - both the wildly popular TV series and the critically acclaimed games - you're anxiously anticipating news of Season 3.
Developer Telltale Games is currently working on the third chapter in the interactive franchise, and creator Robert Kirkman has teased some new details.
In a new IGN video, Kirkman talked a bit about the storyline and how it blends with the comic books:
"Season 3 of the Telltale series is really exciting to me just because the way that the timeline works, season three will actually be getting pretty close to where we are in the comics concurrently, like the books that are coming out now are roughly in the same time frame that season three will be in. There's a lot of really cool, really exciting things coming that I don't think people will expect."
Kirkman added that the Season 2 protagonist, Clementine, will be returning "in some form" in the third season. Clementine has aged a few years since you last saw her, as you might expect. Plus, speaking of the comic books, Kirkman says gamers will see more of the comic elements implemented in the games "in interesting ways."
The Walking Dead Season 3 should launch some time this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and other platforms may receive the game at a later date.
