The official Tales of Blog has shared new details on the story of Tales of Berseria, including more about Artorius the world’s savior, Titania the prison island, and the Val Eltia pirate ship.
Artorius, the world’s savior
He is the head of the exorcists of the Abbey and the hero who brought order to a world where people were frightened by the threat of daemons. He is also a target of Velvet’s revenge.

Titania, the prison island
Titania is the fortified and isolated island where prisoners in “the Holy Midgand Empire” are sent. Velvet had been kept in a cell here since the accident three years ago. The prison is on the lonely island in a forbidden sea and the whole island is itself the prison.
The beginning of the story – Escape from the prison island
The first part of the story starts on Titania, the prison island. Velvet seizes a chance to break out of prison and tries to escape from the island in order to seek vengeance against Artorius.
Pirate ship, the Van Eltia
The sailing vessel of Aifread’s pirates, which Eizen is part of.
Additionally, the latest issue of Weekly Jump also offers new information on two characters, as well as a look at the cut-in for one of Velvet’s Mystic Artes
Teresa Linares (voiced by: Yui Horie)
A first-class Exorcist. She’s kind to her half-brother Oscar. She calls Laphiset “No. 2” and puts him to work.
Oscar Dragonia (voiced by: Tomoaki Maeno)
Oscar has a strong sense of justice when it comes to bringing down the Daemon. He, too, is a first-class Exorcist and comes from a noble background. He’s a powerful opponent that will stand in the way of Velvet and others on several occasions.
Tales of Berseria will release in Japan on August 18, 2016 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. In the West, the game will release in early 2017. It's just too bad that the US version of Tales of Berseria won't make it in late 2016. But I guess it will be alright, since there will surely be plenty of games to play on the last months of 2016, like Final Fantasy XV. Any thoughts guys?
