SteamWorld Heist HD Coming To PS4 And PS Vita On May 31
SteamWorld Heist, the plucky robot pirate strategy game from SteamWorld Dig developer Image & Form, is coming to PS4 and Vita on May 31. Steamworld Heist has previously been exclusive to Nintendo 3DS. The game, which the developer says has been inspired by strategy games Worms and XCOM, will be available for £15.99, with a 15% discount available to anyone who pre-orders. It's Cross-Buy too, meaning you'll get both the PS4 and PS Vita versions with a single purchase.
This full HD upgrade will run at 1080p with 60 fps. You can see some footage of it in action in the announcement video below:
"SteamWorld Heist is turn-based strategy with a twist," says Image & Form Games. "In battle against the terrors of the galaxy you manually control the guns of your steam-driven space pirate crew, allowing for insane skill shots and bullet-bouncing action!"
Furthermore, the game's The Outsider DLC will be available from day one. Looking ahead, SteamWorld Heist will be released on Steam "very soon after" the PlayStation release. Xbox One, Wii U and IOS versions will follow after.
Watching the video above, the game looks fun to me. Once I've finished playing Uncharted 4, I might give this game a try. How about you, will you be picking this game up on May 31st?
