July PS Plus Games Include Until Dawn and Our First Playlink Game

Every once in awhile we get a really good set of games with our Plus memberships. July is one of those months. The biggest addition this month (in my humble opinion) is Until Dawn from Supermassive Games. If you haven’t tried out this horror title this would be a good time to give it a go.

It’s a thriller with a bunch of teenagers in a cabin and a killer on the loose. The story changes based on the decisions you make and it’s actually pretty complex. Decisions you make can have major ramifications in the game and can get somebody killed. It’s really well done and has a pretty big cast of stars.

In case you’re curious here is the full list. The other games are pretty good this month.

Until Dawn
Game of Thrones

Tokyo Jungle
Darkstalkers Resurrection

Don’t Die, Mr. Robot

The biggest surprise is the addition of That’s You which is the first game for the Playlink feature announced at E3 and is free for Plus subscribers. Playlink seems like a good way to play games with your friends and at parties. In That’s You people can join up with their phones  and play different mini games together. I think it’s a really cool idea and I’m interested to see how well it does.

Guess I should go dig up some friends for next week. What do you think of next month’s selection of games? Are there any you games you are going to pick up this week?

I loved Until Dawn; so campy, yet well written. If you haven't played it you should definitely give it a try. It is especiall cool to play it at night, and a group of friends helping you choose what happens in the game.
