Do Renewed Agent Trademarks Hint At A Rockstar Announcement?

A common question among PlayStation fans these days is- "Whatever happened to Agent?

The game that was originally announced in 2009 as a PS3 exclusive has fallen off the radar in recent years, although we caught a glimpse of some concept art back in 2011. Is the project still in the works?

Possibly. Siliconera has spotted a pair of renewed trademarks for the title; they relate to the name and logo, which we've seen before. Publisher Take-Two Interactive hasn't confirmed or denied Agent's existence; the last update came in 2012 when CEO Strauss Zelnick said they "haven't announced anything yet." By the way, beyond Grand Theft Auto V (which launches September 17), we have no idea what Rockstar will give us next.

Me, I'm hoping for a sequel to Red Dead Redemption. But I know everyone is anxious to finally see Agent. When we do, though, it may not be exclusive to the PS4... Multiplatform is  much more likely these days.

This would be a welcomed PS4 announcement/addition.

R* sure is good at being secretive in this day and age...Holding all that GtaV info, and what are they working on next?!?

Stay Classy PSX...

Pretty much confirmed that it'll come next generation. Like Beyond Good & Evil, Final Fantasy Versus XIII/XV and most likely The Last Guardian, they'll all move to next-gen.

Only question is, will this game stay exclusive to PS4? Probably not. Unless Sony publishes. An exclusive Rockstar game would destroy anything on Xbox One though.

I beg to differ, the game was already announced, so there. And now it will be multiplat.

ever since it was announced, wondered from time to time what was up with this game. kept it in my mind because it's a R* title. Remember how long l.a. noire was in development? that finally came out so, I would bet Agent will as well.
