New Watch Dogs Trailer: High Drama And Slam-Bang Action

It's one of the most anticipated games of 2013 and with each new trailer, the hype rises another notch.

The latest is on display over at the PlayStation Blog, and it's pretty fantastic. In fact, it may be the best preview video yet.

After nabbing more than 90 E3 nominations and awards, Ubisoft's new IP is primed to deliver the goods when it releases this fall. Elite hacker and underground soldier Aiden Pearce will hit the streets and nobody is safe! This game has a real sense of next-level urgency and high-tech drama, and it appears to take open-world action/adventure to new heights. Me, I want it more than Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and that's because I think Watch Dogs will offer a fresher experience. And that's what I want.

So, what do you think?

Looks like it's gonna be an epic open world experience. So long as the combat isn't anything like Assassin's Creed I'm interested, but later on.

All that tech... you know in my day all we had was a pager, a pager!

If they could mimic combat from a game such as Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter etc... Which would you choose. I would say Tekken with a touch of Soul Calibur for weapons Maintaining the same tone of the game of course.

Actually I'd prefer the combat of DOA, it's slick and smart with the holds and such. But I don' think the fights would be one on one so something like Sleeping Dogs but faster would be really cool.

I wonder how much of those sequences are actual ingame footage and what are parts of a cutscene.

Like that sequence where he seem to shut down the power and we see the windows go dark on quarter after quarter along the skyline. Is that a pre-scripted sequence or something that can be performed in game at your own will?

Either way this looks *crazy* cool. This game along with Infamous pretty much settles my plans for the first few months on the PS4.

All we need now is a really good coop game to enable my buddies and I to kick off the new generation in style, and I am completely pleased.

if this does not get GOTY it will be one massive surprise/ disappointment!
it looks THAT good!
not to mention its just something so unique, so interesting and exciting.
which begs the question, ill say it again, why did we have to wait till next gen systems to get what felt like a no brainier?

I must be the only person in the world who isn't excited for this game. I just can't get excited for most open world games these days, and this game just looks like another game except with the hacking gimmick(which could be really cool but from the looks just seems meh to me). I'll wait for reviews before judging but I just can't get excited for this :(

Infamous Second Son has me way more excited from the little bits I have seen of that game, which is weird because its open world too. But I think Infamous handled open worlds incredibly well to be honest.
