Battlefield: Bad Company 3? DICE Would "Love To See It"
If you were always partial to the Battlefield: Bad Company games, here's good news.
DICE creative director Lars Gustavsson told Polygon that in fact, the developer has every intention of bringing back Bad Company. Said Gustavsson:
"My feeling is that I would love to do it. For me, when we started the company with 1942, it was really a work of passion. And then we worked our way through the era of different wars, and I loved them all, like my little babies. When it came to Bad Company, it was creative freedom; don't take yourself too seriously."
Bad Company 2 released to widespread critical acclaim in 2010, and the colorful cast of characters is what set it apart from other shooters. Gustavsson added that it probably won't happen immediately, as the team's focus is on Mirror's Edge 2 and Star Wars: Battlefront, but he still "wants to see it again." This year, we'll get the hotly anticipated Battlefield 3, which will have to tide you over until Bad Company makes its triumphant return.
