Battlefield: Bad Company 3? DICE Would "Love To See It"

If you were always partial to the Battlefield: Bad Company games, here's good news.

DICE creative director Lars Gustavsson told Polygon that in fact, the developer has every intention of bringing back Bad Company. Said Gustavsson:

"My feeling is that I would love to do it. For me, when we started the company with 1942, it was really a work of passion. And then we worked our way through the era of different wars, and I loved them all, like my little babies. When it came to Bad Company, it was creative freedom; don't take yourself too seriously."

Bad Company 2 released to widespread critical acclaim in 2010, and the colorful cast of characters is what set it apart from other shooters. Gustavsson added that it probably won't happen immediately, as the team's focus is on Mirror's Edge 2 and Star Wars: Battlefront, but he still "wants to see it again." This year, we'll get the hotly anticipated Battlefield 3, which will have to tide you over until Bad Company makes its triumphant return.

BF BC is a pretty cool fps.

While people wait for BC3 they can grab Crysis 3 (Origin) from Amazon for $15.
That's right. Crysis 3 the seminal masterpiece that redefines the genre in it's technical sophistry and Yerli-scale prowess. CAUTION: Crysis 3 may look as good as next-gen launch titles.

(Crysis 3 requires an Origin account, valid email and constant internet connection to play. By accepting the license agreement you agree to any terms or conditions that may come to pass at a later time. Void where prohibited)

I did that a bit ago, same price but for PS3, haven't played it yet though. Gotta break from FPS for a spell.

When he said "This year, we'll get the hotly anticipated Battlefield 3", I believe he meant Battlefield 4, as it is close to release.

DICE definitely needs to do a Bad Company 3. Bad Company 2 is 3 years old and still has packed matches.
For any on line shooter that does not have Call of Duty in the title, that is a huge accomplishment.

in fact i probably would've finished BC2 if it were not for the game massively crashing and locking up my PC and somehow deleting my save file in the process. no joke.

Never played the 1st, just the demo but I love playing BFBC2 mp, bought it before used for $10 and it came with the 15$ extra worth of map packs/onslaught 4 player online coop. Idiot before me forgot to punch in the codes for the xtra DLC, lucky me. :] Maybe I guess I should buy BC1 and go thru the campaign and then 2. Anyways count me in another Bad Company game.
