Kingdom Hearts III Gameplay: The Infinite Charm Of Sora And Co.

Kingdom Hearts III is one of the most anticipated titles of the next generation. For many long-time JRPG followers, even more anticipated than Final Fantasy XV. And that's understandable.

We caught some gameplay at E3, which looked great, but now another gameplay video has shown up. There's a lot to like, and you just gotta love the bouncy, colorful style that makes this franchise so damn appealing. I mean, how can you resist?

There are many battle segments, including one where Sora is on the bow of a ship apparently covered in Christmas lights; then a similarly light-covered train, that winds its way around a massive foe. We've been waiting on the third official franchise installment for quite some time, and while it's still a ways off, we're just happy that it's coming. Me, I'm not a huge KH fanatic but I certainly want it more than FFXV.

Thanks, Zak!

Looks more of the same and if it isn't broken don't fix it :)

I'm still not sure if I will get this now that the KH 2.5 Remix HD Collection is not including Dream Drop Distance. I played Kingdom Hearts II without playing Chain of Memories on the GBA and that was a huge mistake, I had no idea what was going on for pretty much the entire game...

I bought a DS not long before Dream Drop Distance was annoucned. I wanted to catch up with the story as a whole as with a DS I would have access to Chain of Memories with a GBA port and 358/2 Days as a DS game. Then Dream Drop Distance came along and put me a console behind once more. I love the series an I am glad their trying to make it up to the fans in putting the games in one great bundle but if DDD is not in that, the problem which has plagued the series for 10 year still remains. In all honesty, these HD Collections should have been available for next gen consoles instead of current consoles... But I will be keeping my PS3 so I am not so sour in that regard.

If you don't have time to play DDD just go read the plot on Wikipedia :D

Honestly, the whole storyline is so convoluted now that it is hard to keep up with even if you DID play all the games.

I can't wait to play this game. I really have been waiting for this game since I beat KH2 whenever it was released some 8 years ago or whatever.

I dig the graphics and the slower pace to the battles. It looks to be a nice mix between KH1 and KH2s battle system which is perfect for me :)

Wait... Goofy? Donald Duck? Ok, that was 20 years ago. Now I'am 33.

Nonsense, you can never be to old for Disney. I still regard Fantasia as one of the best motion pictures of all time. The Tree of Life couldn't even surpass the Rite to Spring sequence on evolution.

They're older than you, so what's the problem?

Can easily tell this was already in development for the ps3. Just so glad Nomura had his chains broken and is allowed to resume his work. So hyped for this game as well.

The Kingdom Hearts games were among the best of the PS2. I've been playing 1.5 remix, and it brings back memories. Still hate the camera, though.

This looks amazing!

I was reaaaaaaaaaaaaally hoping that Squeenix wouldn't go and do something stupid by changing KH3 too much, but it seems to be very faithful to the previous titles which is GREAT news.

My hype for this game is reaching Destiny levels! Now we just need a 2014 release!

EDIT: See guys, imagine a FF based title using this kind of gameplay!

I think I'll play Kingdom Hearts for my Kingdom Hearts gameplay model. I played Final Fantasy for the Final Fantasy gameplay model.

I'm not sold on FFXV yet, for example.

So goddamn shiny and sexy that it hurts. Starry eyed, stars everywhere.

It's very humbling that I'll be playing this game on my last year of undergrad study. It'll be my long awaited reward.

Can't wait for the magic.
