Sources: Driveclub Pushed Into Spring
The PlayStation 4 can use all the launch titles it can get, so if this news is true, it's unfortunate.
According to a variety of reports, the intended PS4 launch game, Driveclub, may have been delayed until 2014. It started with a rumor at The Same Coin and then gained traction when a source "familiar with Sony's plans" told Kotaku that Evolution's anticipated racers was indeed pushed back.
If accurate, this means we won't see Driveclub until 2014. It's also interesting to note that the game was removed from a PS4 preview event in San Francisco due to a "scheduling conflict." As for the developer, Evolution design direction Paul Rustchynsky didn't make any concrete statements; he only had this to say via Twitter:
"Unfortunately guys I don't have any new information on DriveClub to share. I've been out if the office for a week looking after my newborn!"
Uh-oh, looks like new PS4 owners will be left with Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack as launch exclusives...
