Just Cause 3 Might Melt Your Face On Next-Gen Consoles

Okay, loyal fans, just picture it: All the expected over-the-top insanity of Just Cause 3 on a next-generation console. ...that's so insane, it could be hazardous to your health.

Thanks to a new job listing for developer Avalanche Studios (as spotted by NowGamer), the team has crazy high aspirations for the upcoming third installment.

The position is for a vehicle designer, who will be tasked with creating "stunning vehicles in terms of handling, physics simulation and destruction," and they aim to produce "something no open world to date has yet achieved." The coolest part is that the advertisement says they're "developing for both current and next gen platforms." Just as a coincidence, the original Just Cause launched simultaneously for the Xbox and Xbox 360.

You'll see plenty of generation-straddling going on, I believe. Another game to do that might be Grand Theft Auto V...let's just hope that Just Cause 3 doesn't decide to go toe-to-toe with GTAV. As wacky and entertaining as JC3 could be, that would be a bad idea.
