Kojima Praises PS4's Graphical Ability, Social Elements
Hideo Kojima has some nice things to say about the highly advanced PlayStation 4.
During a recent Game Spark interview (as cited by DualShockers), the Metal Gear Solid creator talks about the system's impressive graphical capability and the positives of connecting core gamers to social gamers.
In regards to the graphics, he says the improved visuals help out games like Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for a very specific reason: As the plot centers on intolerance of different ethnic peoples, the better graphics allow us to even better see those differences. In general, he sees the extra power of the PS4 adding to the overall immersiveness of games. Then there's the social aspect of Sony's new console, which Kojima believes builds a bridge between social/casual gamers and avid/hardcore gamers.
Although I couldn't give two figs about the social side, he's right, of course. For our PS4 launch day breakdown, check out the assigned grades.
