Incoming Battlefield 4 PS4 Update Should Fix Crashing Problems
If you're having significant issues with Battlefield 4 on the PlayStation 4 or PC, don't worry. Developer DICE is well aware of the situation.
Unfortunately, there's some bad news on the PC front: As confirmed in the game's forums, the title was targeted by a DDOS attack. Said franchise producer Ali Hassoon:
"We are being targeted by a DDOS, but working on fixing it asap. I'm sorry somebody is ruining your and my day. Rest assured we are doing our best to mitigate the situation though."
As for the PS4 version, many complaints have been gathered. The game continues to crash and freeze, and others have experienced multiple corrupted files. But as part of a new Battlelog update, DICE says they plan to release an update next week that will hopefully fix these issues. So, if you're having continued problems trying to play Battlefield 4 on the PS4, you might want to play something else until that patch arrives.
