What Is Your Most Anticipated New IP For The PS4/Xbox One Era?

With a new generation should come promising new IPs.

We all get our fill of sequels, prequels, reboots and spin-offs. Brand new IPs are indeed few and far between and obviously, we don't know about all the fresh IPs in the works for the new generation.

But what might be your most anticipated? Will it be something like Ready at Dawn's The Order: 1886 for the PS4? Or are you more interested in Titanfall for the Xbox One? Then again, maybe you're expecting a talented developer to deliver a fantastic new IP; you just don't know about it yet. For me, I'm willing to bet that my most anticipated new IP will be whatever Quantic Dream produces. Yeah, Beyond: Two Souls was a step back from the masterpiece that was Heavy Rain, but I still believe in that studio's message and direction. And their talent is undeniable.

If anyone will continue to push the boundaries of storytelling, it's David Cage and Co. They just need to take the next step, and they need to realize that trying to put more action into the QTE scheme is not advisable for a number of reasons. It'll also be interesting to see if Guerrilla Games delivers something fresh; they're supposedly working on several mystery projects right now, if the rumors are true. I'd like to see that team tackle something besides a shooter. Killzone is great, don't get me wrong, but I like to see a talented team spread its wings, especially with new and more powerful hardware. Take advantage of what you're given!

So, what about you?

It's set in New York and has awesome graphics. Other than that, we don't know much. But that's enough to aboard the hype train.

Should see the link once/if approved.

I think The Order: 1886 looks really promising, and I like the setting and mood they've shown in the trailer. I haven't seen any gameplay footage yet (is there any?), but it's still intriguing.

A new IP from Naughty Dog would be one of the best games of the generation, obviously. Also, I had heard Guerrilla was working on a new IP. That would be another one that I would be eager to see.

Top three are easily Infamous Second Son, The Order and Deep Down. Watch Dogs could be great but could also be a massive disappointment. The Evil Within looks so good, but I am a little worried about a few factors. Otherwise, I mainly look forward to the new games, the ones that haven't been announced yet. Oh, also the new Zelda. I hope that they make another one like Twilight Princess. Loved the art style in that game. Felt so unique, kind of like Metroid Prime Echoes.

Fallout 4, Uncharted 4 and Quantic Dreams next offering. I will probably continue with my PS3 and Vita combo until one of these comes out and I can jump to the PS4.

**edit** obviously didn't read the "new IP" bit. Still stuck in the past!

Hard to say. Whatever QD has in the hopper is a biggie, and the same goes for Ninja Theory. Of the announced IPs though, it would probably have to go to The Order. Just seems really fresh.

The next IP from BioWare. That will be insanely interesting to hear more of - if it happens (surely it must?).

But of known newcomers: Cyberpunk 2077, by CD Projekt. Without a shadow of doubt.

To be honest I havent seen anything that has really caught my attention yet. Watch Dogs looks decent, as does The Division. I can't speak of The Order 1886 until I see some gameplay footage and have a better sense of what it is offer.

But there aren't any new IP's which have gotten me super excited for a PS4, if anything its still the old favorites Metal Gear Solid & Final Fantasy.

Ubisoft's The Division. The instant I saw the reveal, I was hooked. Not only does the game look fantastic with all the graphical tech thrown at it, the premise of the game sounds and looks very appealing. I can't wait to try this one out.

By far The Division!!! Even though it was a good game (not great) Ghost Recon Futur Soldier was sooo much fun to me. This looks like it will follow suit on a much grander scale. Everything i see on The Division just looks amazing!

At this moment, my most anticipated new IP will definitely be The Order: 1886. I think I will play Watch Dogs, and maybe Destiny.. since I'm not really a FPS player (I did buy Killzone: Shadow Fall though), The Division looked interesting, their Snowdrop Engine is pretty impressived. I want to try Dying Light, but again I am not really into FPS. Oh yeah, also The Evil Within. I guess I need to watch my wallet first :D

I want to say Watch_Dogs because I love the concept. But unfortunately it seemed like it went from something awesome when it was first shown to a steaming pile of crap this past June. It doesn't help the GTA V is an excellent game and that AC IV turned out much better than I think many expected. I still have hope for Watch_Dogs but right now Sunset Overdrive, Titanfall, Quantum Break and Destiny seem like better bets.

The Order is the one that really caught my eye at E3. It looked much more interesting when I was assuming it would be an action/adventure game though; now that they've said it's a shooter I'm kind of...yawn.

Project CARS from Slightly Mad Studios will probably be good. Unfortunately I guess you won't be able to buy and collect a garage full of supercars, you'll just get a car to use in a race etc. Still if the physics are good and there's a big selection of tracks I'll definitely be checking it out.

What I'd really like is a game that takes me to a far away fantastic world where I can do lots of interesting things. I'm so bored with all this realistic present-day junk. I can experience that just by walking outside.
