Got The PS4, So Why Am I Still Playing All My PS3 Games?
The nifty new PlayStation 4 is sitting there in the entertainment center and yet, in my "games to play" pile, there are no PS4 titles.
Well, none besides Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, because that has to be played, and I wanted to wait to finish it on the PS4 after doing the review of the PS3 version. I guess you could argue that that's one, but it's also available on current-gen consoles as well.
Aside from that, I'm done with Killzone: Shadow Fall and as I've no interest in online multiplayer, I won't be going back to it. Contrast is almost done, too, but despite the excellent concept, it's just a little too flawed for me to finish. Knack doesn't interest me from a single-player standpoint, but my girlfriend and I do intend to complete the quest co-op. That's the only time the PS4 gets turned on right now, by the way.
I wanna play Gran Turismo 6, Grand Theft Auto V and Splinter Cell: Blacklist. I never got to finish the latter, I just got GT6 (and I love it), and because of the inevitable October/November review blitz, I never got a chance to finish GTAV, either. Sure, I don't see anything on the horizon for the PS3 that I desperately need but for now, I'm playing PS3 games. Doesn't that seem a little odd with the PS4 sitting there? I bet I'm not the only one saying this right now, though...
