Killzone: Shadow Fall Free Multiplayer Trial Set For This Weekend

PlayStation Plus subscribers are used to free stuff by now.

For the last weekend of the year, Plus peeps can enjoy a free trial version of the Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer component. This was previously revealed over at the PlayStation Blog, but we figured you could probably  use a friendly reminder.

From December 28 through the end of the 2013, Plus members can enjoy 24-player online competition in Shadow Fall. To better prepare for the weekend action, you can download the Multiplayer Trial right now from the PlayStation Store. You should also check the myriad of holiday discounts on the PSN; you might find a few titles you've always been meaning to play, but never had the time. Well, now that they're on sale, it's the perfect time to play catch-up.

The multiplayer in Shadow Fall was actually quite original and loads of fun. It's definitely different from some of the other shooters out there.

Is that the only thing PSPlus peepz get on PS4 this week? How are they going to fill up the next few gameless months and the rest of the year with content?

And the PSN Holiday sale for PS3 is pretty pitiful so far if you ask me, slim pickins and not so great prices.

Really? I have 4 PS4 games right now excluding the others on store shelves. BF4, Ghosts, and KZ alone can soak up a ton of time. AC4 is super huge as well. I've been playing it for 2 weeks and I'm only 37% complete. And I haven't even started Knack yet. I still plan on picking up Lego Marvel Super Heroes and Need for Speed as well. At my rate I'll still be playing other games when infamous and Drive Club release. Probably until The Elder Scrolls Online releases in June even.

They gave two free games when it released. It covered two months of ps4 game releases. Definitely get marvel superheroes. I'm not a fan of the lego games but, this one shattered my expectations on what a good lego and marvel game should be.
