2014 Release Schedule: 70 PS4 Games Worth Considering

Got your year planned?

We're asking from a video game standpoint, of course. And although you probably have a few titles that sit atop your priority list for 2014, you wish you could add a few more.

Well, if you're a PlayStation 4 owner (or a prospective owner), you'll definitely want to check out a full list of 70 PS4 games slated to arrive some time this year. Of course, this is based on current information; some titles might end up being delayed, others haven't been written in stone for 2014. Still, it's nice to have a huge number of possibilities all in one place. You'll notice there are several really intriguing games, such as inFamous: Second Son, The Order: 1886, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Thief and others.

What are the games that are on your "must have" list this year?

The PS4 has no games! No games until 2015!

I think the games I'm looking most forward to are The Order 1886, Elder Scrolls Online, Destiny, infamous and of course as the anticipated Uncharted 4.

If that FFXV one is true, than I won't be having a life anymore. Kh2.5, FFX HD, Dark souls 2, and FFXV will completely consume me. No more shooting people for me this year!

There is no way Final Fantasy XV will be released this year, just calling it now.

Some of those are wrong... Tales of Symphonia Chronicles is only coming to PS3. Human Element and KH3 aren't planned to be out before 2015. Also no Lily Bergamo on the list.

Still, it is impressive for a first year. I think it's gonna be a great generation.

I'm still pumped for Watch Dogs, even though it disappointed me with the push back in release.

I just beat AC4 last night, first game I've beaten since Uncharted 2!! It feels good to get back into gaming.

Now I'm hoping that ND goes through with the PS4 port of The Last of Us.

I'm waiting for the PS4 Infamous: Second Son bundle to be confirmed. That game is a system seller for me.

There were also several old titles on that list, but impressive nonetheless.

I suspect that Dragon Age will be my GOTY of this year. I just got this very, very good feeling about it. I think BioWare will return to splendour with that game.

Other than that I got the same favourites as pretty much everyone else: Watch Dogs, Thief, Witcher, Infamous, The Division, Destiny and so forth.
Bottom line is, this is quite the year we got in front of us!

That`s a lot of titles, and a half of those that are mentioned haven`t I heard of before.

Well, 15 of those games I`m at least getting!

Not a cheap year.

Interested in very few of these games:
Destiny (depending on if there's a fee and the value of it)
The Witcher 3 (if they can match Skyrim)
The Witness
The Crew (Must Have #1)
Drive Club (Must Have #2)
Blast 'Em Bunnies (it's got rabbits!)
War Thunder (which I just got interested in after watching streams of it).

I'll also pick up NFS Rivals next week now that I've given the rest of the world enough of a head start to make it challenging. LOL
ESO fell off my radar as soon as they announced the monthly fee. I'm a console gamer and I don't pay upkeep for games. If you want a monthly fee then the initial game has to be free. Period.

Way too many shooters/Action Games for my taste. I predict my PS3 (and 3DS) will still get the majority of my play time altho I am still very happy with my PS4. If Sony can bring my PS2 games online and I can stream me destroying in Unreal then I will be a happy man.
