Your mom is fat and smells of elderberries!

Your mom and your sister wanted to be your hat, and you know it’s true!

Have you ever been confronted by somebody that you absolutely despise? Have you ever wanted to insult random people on the internet using predetermined words and phrases? Do you want to insult God himself?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then you’re in for a treat! Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator pits you against another AI or human foe, where you must spit insults at your enemy by combining various words and phrases to form proper sentences. I know that might sound a tad boring to your average Joe, but trust me, it’s not. This game is actually surprisingly fun and addictive, and at times really quite funny. However, Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator isn’t without its faults. And if I’m being honest here, one of its biggest faults is the primary reason for this review being as short as it is. See, while Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator (brilliant name by the way) is a fun and whimsical journey through the finer points of the English language, it is also a very short game. You’ll see and experience everything that this game has to offer within the first ten minutes of playing. Sure, there are a few secondary characters to unlock, but they’re all pretty much the same. They all say the same things, they all go to the same locations. It gets old, and fast. Thankfully the gameplay balances that stuff out a fair bit, with it being pretty darn addictive in its own right, but addictive gameplay can’t entirely outweigh the lack of content.

Once you get to the part of the game where you’re met with a chorus of ass trumpets, it pretty much ends there. There’s nothing more for you to see, beyond unlocking a few extra characters. And that’s really the biggest problem here. Once you get to and beat the final boss, you can eventually unlock him as a playable character, which basically gives you extra health, making the entire game a total breeze to get through from that point on. However, after you do end up getting to the final stage once more, you’re met with… yourself. If you play the game as the final boss, you end up playing against the final boss as the final boss. There’s a really big disconnect in humor there, and it honestly ruined the whole experience for me personally. I expected at the very least an alternative boss. Hell, the game could have easily set up an alternative boss, and the most obvious choice would have been funny as hell. Instead, you fight yourself.

So, my final verdict is pretty simple. Is Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator worth buying? Yes, most definitely. I had a lot of fun playing it, and there’s a ton of replay value here to justify a sale. However, I can’t help but to be very disappointed in the lack of content and alternative endings. It just made everything feel incomplete, and I honestly felt a tad cheated in the end. I mean, considering the low price, I guess I can’t really complain. You’re ultimately paying for the gameplay, so the lack of additional content isn’t the end of the world. But it’s worth noting all the same.
