Nyko Screen Armor Review
The roughly 3.5-inch by 2.5-inch piece of aluminum attaches to the PSP by way of two plastic clips that grab onto the top and bottom edges of the unit. The side that rests against the screen is made of soft neoprene, which won't scratch or scuff the PSP's casing. Once attached, you can pretty much rest easy knowing that your PSP's screen is protected from dust and sharp objects.
Now, about those claims...
"Protects your PSP"
Yes it does. However, the clips that hold the aluminum piece onto the unit have sharp edges that can potentially scratch the screen. D'oh!
"Without adding bulk" and "Designed to fit most carrying cases."
False. Screen Armor adds roughly 1mm to 2mm of girth to the top, bottom, and front sides of the PSP, which is just enough to prevent the unit from slipping into the soft case supplied with the PSP Value Pack or into many third party carrying cases.
It's impossible to recommend Nyko's Screen Armor. There are already numerous other products out there that do the same thing, without creating additional hazards or inconveniences. Furthermore, at $10, it costs twice as much as competing products.
