Sony Announces God of War PSP Bundle

Update: We've got pictures of the actual unit. Take a look!

  In addition to the already announced MGS4 PlayStation 3 bundle, Sony has also given the wonderful PSP some loving, as well, also in the form of a bundle. Prospective PlayStation Portable purchasers can look forward to a new God of War themed PSP that'll stand apart from every other PSP unit, as this will be a limited-edition "Deep Red" color with Kratos silk-screened on the back of the handheld.

   Of course, the actual God of War: Chains of Olympus will be bundled with the unit, but that's not at all. Much like the Daxter bundle, which also included a UMD of Family Guy, the God of War Entertainment Pack will feature a UMD of 2007's hilarious "Superbad", and a voucher code to download Syphon Filter: Combat Ops free from the PlayStation Store. So you're basically getting two awesome games, and an awesome movie! The price point remains at a solid $199.99, which is a mere $30 more expensive, despite all the freebies.

   If you already have a PSP, then feel free to snag your copy of God of War: Chains of Olympus on March 4th.

I've been meaning to go get a PSP-2000 but I guess I can forgo the awesome Pastel Colours Japan gets since this is cheaper, comes with 2 games, a movie and most likely a 1GB mem stick (or more depending how big the syphon filter game is).

The color is just drop dead gorgeous!!! But I'm not sure I'd like to see Kratos' face on my PSP... dun get me wrong GoW is like one of my fav games

The design's too small. How come the design is only one of the sides? Just like the star wars LE PSP, They don't use a lot of the space. The Star Ocean: First Departure Limited Edition PSP had the design all over the back, this one looks too simple and plain. (It's just Kratos' head, you think they could put like a picture of his weapons on the other side or maybe the Logo.)

Well, i'm glad my gf told me to not buy a psp2000 yet, I was just gonna get a piano black...but maybe this bundle will be worth the extra $30. I still would've loved to have gotten a Crisis Core, Star Ocean, or any of the cool ones they released in Japan. Oh well, maybe a nice Patapon bundle will come out!?! That'd be awesome :)
