PSP News: Capcom Issues More Street Fighter Details

Capcom Issues More Street Fighter Details

Oh, don't worry...they just might surprise you and make a great action movie.

Capcom has released more information on the upcoming "Street Fighter" movie, and while we've heard some of it before, there are a few new interesting bits of information. They confirmed again that hottie Kristin Kreuk will be playing Chun Li, and other members of the cast will include the deep-voiced Michael Clarke Duncan (Balrog), Chris Klein (Charlie), and Taboo (Vega) of the Black Eyed Peas. Now, new to the cast is Neil McDonough, who will assume the all-important role of M. Bison. The release report had this to add-

"At Capcom, not only do we strive to make entertaining and profitable games, but we are also always endeavoring to lucratively develop our popular franchises in other media in ways that will please the fans."

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters some time next year, and Capcom has said the film marks the 20th anniversary of the long-running video game franchise. ...of course, the first SF came out in 1987, so perhaps they're just rounding down. Well, whatever; let's just hope this movie turns out to be halfway decent.
