PSP News: PS3/PSP Thief Gets Nailed By A Woman

PS3/PSP Thief Gets Nailed By A Woman

When the PlayStation 3 first launched back in late 2006, theft was an unfortunate problem for several months while the system was difficult to find. There were even a couple tragedies, but these days, availability is up and the motivation for such crimes has all but disappeared. Well, except where typical criminals are concerned and all they want to do is steal stuff.

One such individual should've done a bit more research on his chosen target, though. According to G4 and CNN, a thief broken into a house, stole a PlayStation 3, PSP, some cell phones and a bunch of video games, and then attempted to escape out a window. One problem with that- the woman who owns the house woke up, and she just so happened to be former professional boxer, Derdre Rodriguez. Her fighting career ended ten years ago, but she still stays in shape and decided to chase the thug down. She leaped a fence in pursuit, whacked him once with a heavy ice chipper, than forced his ass back to the house to wait for police. She even made him pick up the stolen items he had dropped during the chase!

You can watch the full video on CNN here, and have yourself a good chuckle. The guy deserved it, and it's even more awesome that a woman put him in his rightful place. Don't mess with a boxer, you dope!
