God Of War PSP Bundle Assaults Retail Stores On June 3

After such amazing software in 2008, you can't possibly need another reason to pick up the PSP if you haven't already. Well, maybe you do...and here it is.

It was announced a while ago, but now, GameStop and EBGames have a release date for the very sweet God of War: Chains of Olympus PSP entertainment pack, and it's the perfect excuse to pick up Sony's handheld. Not only do you get what is arguably the single best PSP title available, but you also get this awesome, Kratos-branded unit and a couple other nifty items. In addition to the "Deep Red" PSP with the God of War: Chains of Olympus bad-ass tattooed on the back, you also get a copy of said game, "Superbad" on UMD, and a voucher to download Syphon Filter: Combat Ops from the PlayStation Store for free. You can have it all for the price of $199.99, and the bundle will arrive in stores on June 3. That's next week, people.

Chains of Olympus is a must-play for any gamer, which means this is an excellent chance to kill two birds with one stone: play a Game of the Year contender and pick up a system you've been meaning to get. Right?

This is the reason I've been waiting to get a PSP. I'm getting it day 1.
