Lion's Gate, 20th Century Fox Announce UMD Movie Releases

Lion’s Gate Entertainment has announced that five new UMD movies will be available for the PSP on or about June 7th.

The movies are: The Punisher, Open Water, National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, Saw, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This lineup is varied with a little bit of everything, and most of the movies are pretty popular—especially T2.

Combine this announcement with the recent news that 20th Century Fox is also supporting the UMD format with five movies from its stable in early July-- I, Robot, Napoleon Dynamite, Dodgeball, Super Troopers, and Predator-- and the future of UMD movies is looking brighter by the day.
