Video Games Live And San Diego Symphony Perform At Comic-Con
You may recall our interview from exactly one year ago with pianist Michael Gluck, also known as Piano Squall. Well, we like to keep you up to speed on any video game music news, and here's a big announcement: Gluck, along with a bevy of other talented musicians, will be performing at the Video Games Live concert at San Diego Comic-Con!, which takes place on July 24.
The event will feature music from your favorite game franchises, including Final Fantasy, Mario, Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania, Zelda, and more. Video Games Live will team up with the San Diego Symphony and treat everyone to a guaranteed fantastic performance at the Embarcadero Marina Park South. Before things kick off, there will be a costume contest, game competitions, game demos, raffles and more, so all music and gaming fans in the area should consider attending. From the press release:
"Proudly presented globally by leading peripheral manufacturer Razer (http://www.razerzone.com), Video Games Live is best described as utilizing the power and emotion of a symphony and choir mixed with the energy and excitement of a rock concert combined with the cutting edge visuals, technology, interactivity and fun that video games provide."
If you'd like to be part of it, you can purchase your tickets and prepare yourself for a very fun day. Video game music is more important - and more memorable - than ever!
