Duke Nukem Trilogy To Assault PSP
Considering we'll probably have to wait "forever" for Duke Nukem Forever (how many times has that joke been made in the past decade?), we'll have to take solace in the next best thing.
According to MCV UK, "one of the greatest franchises in the history of gaming" will be returning to the PSP and DS. Publisher Deep Silver has teamed up with Apogee Software to make it happen, and the result will be the Duke Nukem Trilogy, which will feature "sequential episodes." Critical Mass, Chain Reaction and Proving Grounds will be included in the package, and it will introduce the long-lost FPS legend to a whole new generation of gamers, and handheld gamers at that. Said Koch CEO Klemens Kundratitz"
"Since we launched the Deep Silver label, we’ve aggressively pursued the best properties to bring to market. Apogee has produced some of the greatest franchises in the history of gaming, none of them more popular than Duke Nukem."
Well, yes, it really was one of the most popular franchises in history, but it has been a loooooong time since the sunglass-wearin' bad boy has assaulted our video screens. We have no problems with this announcement, per se (and we love the classics!), but we really hope that Duke will, somehow some way, make his next-gen debut on a home console at some point.

Think 'bout it, they're just playing with us and probably laughing their asses off.
