N+ Leaps Into Retailers On August 26
The PSP has been home to plenty of original titles in the past, many of which can be categorized as either "puzzle" or "action/puzzle," and it appears the latest should fall into the latter genre.
It has been announced that N+, the game that features the spry little ninja whose mission in life centers on gathering up gold coins amidst a wide variety of imaginatively designed levels, is ready for release. It will hit store shelves for the PSP and DS on August 26, and will carry the appealing price tag of $19.99. With that price, those who are looking for something different and potentially addicting ought to give it a try; it's all about timing and reflexes - as any good "action/puzzle" game ought to be - and with 100 total levels and 50 co-op-based levels, there's more than enough bang for the buck. If you've enjoyed any number of the unique PSP titles in the past (like Patapon or Worms: Open Warfare 2), you really might like N+. It's faster and more dexterity demanding than mentally demanding, but it's still in the same ballpark.
If you need any further convincing, check out our full preview of the game, so come August 26, you'll have an excuse to head to the mall.

Too many games like N and other PSP/PS2 titles in the past have been overlooked, and they're the very epitome of originality. Did the GameCube have Shadow of the Colossus? Yeah, the DS has the fresh form of interaction, but does it REALLY have more unique games than the PSP? No, I think not. :)
