Square-Enix Unveils Dissidia: Final Fantasy PSP-3000 Bundle
Ooooh, yet another excuse to pick up Sony's nifty handheld...as if you needed another excuse by now.
Square-Enix has unveiled the Limited Edition Dissidia: Final Fantasy PSP Bundle, which features a copy of the highly anticipated action title and the new PSP-3000 unit. As you can see, it's a sleek and fully loaded package, and as has been the case with other PSP packages, the PSP itself is unique. This one features the characters Cosmos and Chaos emblazoned onto the sharp white paint, and besides this, you will also receive a special package for the game itself, which features artwork from franchise artist Yoshitaka Amano. This bundle will go on sale the day Dissidia launches in Japan, December 18, and will retail for 25,890 yen. Now, we're not entirely sure when and if the bundle will find its way to North America or Europe, but we're hoping it does. Something like this is bound to increase PSP sales; just look at how well the God of War: Chains of Olympus and Madden 09 PSP bundles sold. And this one comes with the enhanced and upgraded PSP-3000, so...
Of course, the only problem is that a game like Dissidia: Final Fantasy usually appeals more to the Japanese crowd, so we may never see this bundle. Maybe if there are enough FF fans over here that are willing to beg for it, Square-Enix will be good enough to make it available. Who knows?

This one looks pretty sweet but I'll wait until something HUGE is done to the PSP until I think about trading mine in. And by that I mean a 2nd analog stick of course. ;)
