Pre-Order Retribution At Amazon, Get Code To Early Demo

Pre-order incentives are always fun, and these days, just about every retailer on the planet tries to have one.

Now, as you can see from this update over at TalkPlayStation, if you pre-purchase Resistance: Retribution at Amazon before January 12, you will receive "a unique code which allows you to download and play an early access demo." Let's not forget that this PSP iteration will also let you hook up to the PS3's Resistance 2; when you do, you'll be able to play the special "Infected Mode." Furthermore, if Retribution turns out to be a major title for the PSP, you'll most certainly want to add it to your handheld library. By now, it's well known that Sony's portable unit needs some software to keep it on the upswing in terms of sales (2008 was the PSP's best year to date), and this Resistance title could mark the start of a really solid 2009. In case you had already forgotten, Resistance: Retribution is scheduled to release in North America on February 24, and remember, you need to pre-order at Amazon before the 12th of this month.  No procrastinating, guys.

Oh, and as one final side note- this promotion only applies to gamers in North America. No special access code if you're in another territory...sorry.
