Second Wave of WipeOut Pure Downloads

Sony will make the second set of downloadable content for WipeOut Pure available tomorrow--Wednesday, June 22, 2005.

This new pack will be titled "Gamma Pack 2" and include two new tracks and two new menu skins.

The two new tracks are Extostra Run and Ubermall. Meanwhile, the two new menu skins will let you outfit the menu in the colors of the Qirex or Auricom teams.

In order to obtain Gamma Pack 2, you'll have to download it from www.wipeoutpure.com using your PC's web browser, or visit the site from within the game by picking the "Downloads" menu option.

Sony has also updated the first Gamma Pack (with what they didn't say), and recommends that players who already have it download it again before installing the newer content. It is not necessary to remove "Gamma Pack 1" from your Memory Stick, however, as it will be overwritten when the updated "Gamma Pack 1" is downloaded.
