Additional PSP Games Revealed
Eagle-eyed readers wrote in to say that EB Games has added a bunch of new first-party titles to its list of "coming soon" games for the PSP. We double-checked with our PR friends at Sony, who confirmed that all of these games are indeed in the works for Q4 2005 / Q1 2006.
Getaway: Gangs of London
Untold Legends 2
Ape Escape 3 (also coming to PS2)
Tourist Trophy (auto racing)
Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror (formerly Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow)
Rogue Galaxy (action-adventure game)
Sony will release more information, as well as screenshots, for all of these games during the next few weeks. We'll be sure to pass the goods along.
Nice to see Sony kicking first-party support into high gear. When you add these titles in with games already announced--Medievil Resurrection (September), The Con (October), Daxter (November), and SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo (November)--the PSP lineup doesn't seem so bleak. Especially when you factor in third-party games like Namco Museum (August), Death Jr. (August), Burnout Legends (September) and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (October).
